Mhm.
I like cold, dark spaces, quiet, unless there's music. But sometimes, I just need to hear human voices. Sometimes, the only person to talk to me, is myself.
Often, it's not really talking. It's just song lyrics, or repeating something over and over. I'm not sure why I do it. One of those things I can't explain.
Unfortunately, though, sometimes I talk when I think no one's listening -- but someone IS. Awkward moments. Lol.
...You say silently the words,
You’re sure no one else will hear.
But in the end, someone was far too near.
They absentmindedly say “what?”
And startled, your gaze rises up.
You avoid their eyes,
And just whisper “nevermind.”
You breathe in and out a few times,
But in your mind the glass breaks,
A sound like summer chimes.
Bite your lip,
Don’t dare smile,
Your thoughts trip,
And again you begin to speak.
Quietly to yourself, your volume weak.
No one hears,
No one cares,
And just this one last time,
You whisper,
“nevermind.”

Only when I'm bored and lonely. But at other times when I'm doing a home crafts project and things don't go my way, then I'm prone to do a little cussin'.

All the time! Well, it's more that my friends don't listen to me. It's VERY annoying, but a swift slap across the face usually brings them back to reality!!!

Yes.
Then I feel sad when I realize that people aren't listening!
Also, sometimes, I'll tell a joke, and someone else will tell one at the same time.
Then someone will laugh, and I'll smile.
Then I realize that they were laughing at the other one!

Yes especially when studying or planning something out. It helps to vocalize things. Also when preparing lessons for class when teaching.

Yes. I find that it helps me focus my thoughts and prevents my inner monologue from going off on wild philosophical tangents. I don't recommend doing it when other people are around though.
