No. The Republicans do care how corrupt the president is. They WANT the president to be corrupt. The more corrupt, the more he will line their pockets. It will be hard, though, to find a more corrupt candidate than the current president. The obvious choices, W's cronies, have become rich and can afford to get out of politics now.

Some of the everyday republican voters do care about the future of America and therefore have abandoned the ship of liars and fools previously known as the Bush administration. Those that have, yet still still identify with the republican party possibly because of some other conservative value, I do not criticize. Yes, lemming instincts are so damn overwhelming. Not much matters to them if they perceive (falsely or not) that their OWN interests are being served to their satisfaction. Most Americans would probably say that while Clinton was morally corrupt in his personal life (marriage, affairs, etc.) and that it absolutely pales in comparison to the MASSIVE and ARROGANT corruption of the Bush administration. The list is so long and we have all heard it, so what delusional process would lead all the cons answering this question to immediately name Clinton as more corrupt? Hey man I am a republican but I have to be honest I am tired hearing how everything is the President's fault. I hate to tell you but in the US it is called a Represenative Democracy. That means those we vote in all share the blame. If Congress voted for funds for the war then that is their fault. If the senate didnt impeach him then thats their fault. I hate to tell you but Bill Clinton was a really bad president as well. He lied, took away funds from soldiers who need tank support in Somalia (which he got us involved in), and so on. All elected official are corrupt. "Power corrupts absolutely" remember that..........

I'd say that this is quite true for many of them (which is so very sad). But I'd also say that the same is true for many dems- that they don't care as long as the Prez is a dem (which is equally as sad). So very disgusting that people can't agree to truly consider candidates based upon what they actually think is best for this country.
