I saw a very nice ceramic pot with lid for baked beans and I would love to buy it, but am afraid of lead. On the bottom, it says made in Tiawan. How can I tell if it is safe?

If there are other pots on the shelf behind it, at one time it must have lead.

If the pot has been kiln fired and has been glazed in all areas fairly the place nutrition or water will stay that's going to then be risk-free. All supplies that i comprehend of that are produced into pottery or ceramics incorporate lead. the glazing is what makes it risk-free for issues which would be fed on. you are able to guess if it replaced into made in Taiwan that's going to be made up of the main inexpensive maximum fabric and you are able to guess that could have lead in it.

I also think that if you can attach a small magnet to the item and it stays, it very well could have lead in it.
