We have so many other newsworthy stories that are being put in the crapper due to Britney Spears, her children, her ex, and her stupid life. Who besides me is SICK TO DEATH of turning on the news to find her ugly face plastered all over it?

I'm with you! I am so tired of turning on the news only to hear about Britney, Paris Hilton, Oprah, O.J., Rosie O'Donnel etc... There are issues of importance that can be aired in place of that junk. It's to bad the media don't see it like that.

She had such a promising career and life...and she was blessed to have two children. She chose to throw it all away...she did that all on her own.
Now, I'm sick to death of hearing about it! She should be so grateful that she's still around to see another birthday. I DON'T need to see any details about it. And, personally....if I were that stupid, and did the things she did, and lost custody of my kids... I would be at home crying until my eyes dried up...not out partying.

I am too. I don't understand what ever made people think she was special, either, unless her fans are trailer trash, also. I can't stand her and others like her. They are setting a horrible example for kids. I guess I was out of the country whenever she got to be "a big deal" [NOT]? Seriously, what rock did she crawl out from under?

Yeah, but you know whenever there's a bad car accident people love to stand around and watch. Same thing. Brit's life is a train wreck and human inclination is to watch to see just how bad it's going to get. I hate to admit it, but once I get my REAL news, I just gotta see what's going on with Brit, Paris, Lindsey, et al. Besides, watching all of their screw ups makes you realize that maybe your own life isn't so messed up after all.

I think once the media stops focusing on celebrities, we would actually start caring about what is important in our world, our society, and our own personal lives. Unfortunately people seem to think that the antics of famous people are more important.
