Message: Hello,

In a recent question, you mentioned being tired of seeing insults, people giving non-answers just for points, and a bunch of other stuff.

I just wanted to let you know that a) the things you mentioned DO violate the guidelines (which you should read), and 2) you can use Report It to help get rid of violations -- chronic abusers of the system get banned from the site (or at least suspended).

Help police the site. You seem to have a good grasp of what it's about.

Would you think this person was a troll?

She was attempting to inform you that the method for preventing insults and other pointing answers is to read the guidelines and report the abusers.
She most likely did it off post in order to seem less like a cop and more like someone who is trying to help you eliminate frustration.
Her suggestion was for you to " help police the site".

I don't see the problem.

FYI a troll is the person who puts up false questions or questions just to get a reaction. I do not believe she is a troll, nor are you.

Her best suggestion was for you to
READ THE GUIDELINES!

Frankly, I'm actually becoming a lot more upset with the people who keep all their answers and questions private and do not allow messages. Why go on a public forum privately? Are you lurkers?

i'm getting 3 hassle-free varieties. a million. The "you're a harlot and could rot in hell" 2. The "so, how's it going?" 3. And the rarest of all is "enable's talk approximately that question or answer you published because of the fact I disagree. 2 and 3 are my favorites. For the record, i'm no longer a harlot anymore. I retired. Hell isn't genuine, and despite if it have been, i does not worry it. So the possibility of it extremely is a waste of time.

I would think that the person was a dweeb for knowing this crap and being so emotionally invested in site. I would wager that they spend many nights in their bed alone.
