Hereto imbue, blotter redo,
Hash and mash, proof unabashed,
Edit, check it, send it, print it,
Jam and cram, slander in it,
Headline deadline, blackmail limit,
Tabloid humanoid, come and get it…

This one is a timing exercise I wrote. Close your eyes. Play the opening drum beat from "Hogan's Heroes" in head, then read this again.

I love the way this manages to be playful with language, and yet have a bit of a dark edge to it. The first stanza, in particular, is actually a bit chilling as I re-read it. Nice job!
