my husband spent time in the UK and says beyond a doubt the US cooks better. Says that UK OVERCOOKS everything.
We don't like to go out to eat he prefers home cooked meals to anything else

cooking? us hands down. uk is good at baking. just the facts.
us cooking is very diverse. its a melting pot of all kinds of different cultures which has led to a type of fusion cooking. american meals are hearty and spicey and i find uk meals to be bland and boring...not varied at all.

I prefer the UK... everything isn't altered for taste. You can go to a Chinese restaurant and get Chinese food, not Chinese food altered to please Americans. Having said that there are some British food customs that I find disturbing, Van de Camps for breakfast? and mushy peas...
from a self confessed Anglophile...

in the adventure that they are suitable fish & chip save chips, then there is not any change for the genuine problem. US so-observed as "fries", the note for which change into taken from the French "frites", are frequently created from reconstituted potatoes, this is the reason they are uniform in length and flavor. sturdy previous British chips are made immediately from the potatoes, meaning they are many times any length and flavor diverse with diverse potato kinds. also, you may not make a first rate chip buttie with fries!
