Whenever I try to play movies or anything involving Windows Media player my PC will only play whatever I'm watching for up to 30 minutes before the monitor turning itself off.
It is not my graphics card as it is brand new and exactly the same as my old one. My old one never had any problems (until my water cooling system dripped on it)
Any ideas why this is happening? I have just brought a new hard drive so basically it's like I have started from new.
Would appreciate some help.

If you know how to install watercooling I would assume you know quite a bit to miss changing the windows screensaver setting...

Make sure all your software and drivers are working properly,

Make sure your watercooling is still working correctly to dissipate heat.

if those all work

I going to have to say the drip didnt just break your graphic card... maybe the shock did some damage to your motherboard too. or the card is DOA..

right click mouse on desk top, properties>screen saver there is a bit that says wait: xx minuets
move the xx to a large number and it will not go in to screen saver mode so quick

check you power saving settings, also boot up into the bios and see if the power saving has been switched on in there
