it was just confirmed on saturday that i am having another little girl due in april so its time to find a name and it has to start with the letter 'd'. i dont care if you dont like everyone in the family having names that start with the same letter, we want to keep with the 'tradition' so if you dont have any good suggestions then dont answer. so far there is (boys and girls) deago, darien, destiny, demitrio, deviny, delliny, devon, dominique, d'angelo, and derrick. the last name is salcido. my fiance likes dakota but i dont think it fits so any suggestions would be really appreciated. also, any cute nursery themes? my daughter already has tinkerbelle so maybe something similar but unique at the same time...thanks!

I don't really like Dakota, I think it's very popular right now and I don't think it's very pretty.
Nursery themes, you could do a Walt Disney fairy theme. The fairy godmother from Cinderella, the 3 fairies from Sleeping Beauty, and you can use the old Tinkerbelle stuff too.
Or, maybe a Thumbelina theme? That could be sweet, with oversized flowers and things, she met a fairy prince...
Good luck and congratulations!

i like Dakota.
here are some others i've heard of that would seem to fit the uniqueness of your present names: Delilah, Delaney, Delivia, Danisha, Daria (my favorite), Diary, Delina, Donelle, Danielle, Darilyn, Darcy (another fave), Daquisha
and also: Delicious. i'm not kidding, a few days ago i met the little girls at my daughter's pre-school, and one of them was named Delicious. but she pronounced it duh-LEE-she-us. hehe

I think Dahlia would be beautiful. Different AND classy - a rare combination. Dakota / Dakoda is overused for both boys and girls.
