If there ever was a certainty about the human condition other than the certainty of death, it is that there is probably not a married human being alive who has honestly never desired to be with someone else, not even in the privacy of his or her own thoughts. Anyone who would declare that to be true is, in all likelihood, either lying, in deep denial, or suffering from a neurosis.

It is entirely possible to be madly in love with one's spouse and still imagine what it might be like to be with another person. That does not in any way diminish that feeling. Acting on this ubiquitous and perfectly human desire is another matter.

In Islam, the two are sins. yet adultery's punishment is dying, on an identical time as premartial intercourse punishment is to be whipped one hundred situations. that's because of the fact interior the 1st case the offender replaced into for advantageous below decrease stress than the offender interior the secons case. i comprehend that some will blv it is so merciless, yet truthfully no1 is compelled to be punished by using this type. If u enable me tell u lil tale abt it. on the Prophet Mohammed PPBUH age, a married lady advised him that she did this sin, he grew to become his face and did no longer respond her, then she got here from the different factor and advised him that she did the sin and he or she wanna get punished so God might do away with this sin from her scripts. He nevertheless does not respond her till she advised him that she replaced into pregnant out of this sin, so he advised her "come lower back whilst u supply bearth", after 8 months (dunno precisely) after she gave delivery, she got here lower back, he advised her "flow wean the child, and are available lower back later", after 2 years she got here lower back and the lil infant replaced into eating a iece of bread. So she replaced into punished. After she died, a million of the companions cursed her, prophet PPBUH advised him "do no longer curse her, she regreted a trouble-free a million that it would be sufficient for 70 person". Then he carry her boy and mentioned "Who'd take care of this boy?" so the ppl responded him "Who'd take care of the son of this female!!" then he responded "I and the maintainer of the orphan r like those in paradise (and pointed by using his 2 hands the middle and the a million beside it)", on condition that then ppl r doing their proper to maintain and safeguard orphans. Sorry for the long answer

in my opinion adultery isnt about looking at someone else and wanting them. Everyone does that. Its human nature. It becomes adultery when one spouse hides it or refuses to tell the other spouse. I think it is the dishonesty in the actions that constitute adultery, not merely thinking about someone else.

Guilty as charged....I have looked at Orlando Bloom many times and wonder what it would be like to be in his arms....LOL....like I really believe that is going to happen....

I think that most people have....nothing wrong with fantasizing about another person.....it is when you act upon it that it becomes adultery.....

i think that most people have toyed with the idea. most people also think twice. women are more likely to say that they don't look at others. men are wired to spread the seed and so they look and toy with the idea. fidelity is a choice for a man, he chooses to not act on his instincts and disires. women are wired to try to keep the man around as a provider and protector so they are not likely to look around unless these needs are not being met.
