Some of my friends have made themselves obvious at church but I am not sure where they are coming from, friendly in a christian way or something else?

Well, if they are being "obvious", then you should KNOW what they want (that is what the word "obvious" means).

Most Christian men who grew up in the church are bad with courtship & romance, because they have had no experience. If you want to know what they want, then just ASK them (but don't ask what their "intentions" are -- I hate that vague question). Ask them if they are interested in just friendship, or is there perhaps a possibility of courtship.

Men prefer direct communication. Women's attempts to drop "hints" often just confuses men.

What does "obvious" mean? I agree with Ned. If you don't know what they want, then obviously they are not "obvious".

If you mean that they are being friendly, then isn't everyone in church supposed to be friendly?

If you want to know what they want, you could try just asking.

I always let a guy approach me, this shows if he is interested in me or not. Kinda of a "test." That way, I am never in doubt as to whether or not he is truly interested. I am friendly to everyone..... by greeting them with a pleasant or cheerful "Hi!" Then it's up to them to pursue me. I stay busy and occupied. That makes me interesting to others and gives us something to make small-talk about.
