I have 2 Netgears DG834Gv3. I am trying to extend my internet connection to another part of the house where I have no ADSL connection, its too long to cable.
An example picture of my setup - http://www.bencarpenter.co.uk/articles/wireless/
So i have installed the latest update which includes a ' repeater mode '. I want to send the internet from the first router to the second, it is possible to still use the first router to connect to the interent wirelessly as normal? OR can it only re-route the connection directly to the second?
Cheers

Well, the really neat part of this is that using this "Repeater" mode is actually a method of Wireless Distribution System (WDS) which means both routers work and are seen by wireless clients (your comptuers) basically as ONE router! So yes both will allow you to connect to them. (If you set the SSID's to the same, you can even "roam" between them like mini- cell sites!)
