I recently saw an 'on-demand' broadcast of "Jaws 2", and well, I might be nuts, but I swear that I saw something familiar sitting on his front porch. I couldn't quite make it out, and I couldn't rewind the film...

No, you're not nuts; what you saw was one of the yellow barrels he supposedly swam back to shore with, at the end of the first film. It's now a planter...

On the Brodys' front porch is a flower planter painted bright yellow. It is one of the barrels from the first Jaws (1975).
