I find it interesting how critics can call Bush stupid, illiterate, or whatever, and then also talk about his grand conspiracies and ability to lie to everyone and cover everything up.

How can he be a slick, evil genius and a bumbling idiot at the same time?

Or do you have nothing better to do then just shout "Bush sucks!" all day?

It is contradictory. Bush should never have been called a mastermind. Of course he is not illiterate either. Someone generously gave him a C+, and it is very possible that he may be at C+. But that grade doesn't even get you class president and should never have taken him anywhere beyond lets say shift supervisor at Wal-mart.

HA!!! Finally someone with a brain. This is the most symptomatic calling card of the anti-Bush regime. They flip flop on all of the issues and they constantly try to play both sides of the fence. None of them are capable of choosing a side on an issue and continually attack issues without offering up any viable solutions. It isn't that they don't have anything better to do, but that they don't have anything better to offer than "Bush sucks."

i think of he's an fool, yet i do no longer think of he brought about 9.11. That replaced into hateful terrorists who have been given fortunate. As for Katrina, he did no longer reason that the two. He did whether take a seat on his thumb for way too long and not furnish any help. It somewhat replaced right into a great screw up, and the turn around for the Republican occasion. P.S. i'm Liberal, and that i do no longer think of the two of those subjects is a real vrs left ingredient.

They have said it.....they don't anymore. It has changed to Cheney is the mastermind and bush is the idiot. The reasons behind that logic is really quite simple.
You see, if you want to bash someones intelligence, it is very important for you to appear more intelligent then them. They have sense realized there error and have changed there attack. However, the damage has been done, and credibility lost by the attackers.

Particular critics you are referring to, do so to gain an audience or to pretend they are smarter then Bush. They want you to believe, they somehow have the inside track and they know.

You won't see those critics in the White House or the Senate or a State Governor. So, how smart are they?

Yes, it is contradictory.

Bush is the idiot. People like Cheney and Rove are the criminal masterminds. Do you really think that Bush managed to land himself in the White House without any help?

You must be part of that shrinking 20 some percent of Bush supporting Americans who still don't get it.

It's combination of the demonizing of a man in anyway they can to erode his support. There has to be no truth in it is called AD Infinitum to the AD Hominem they pigeon hole and use the opposite of Occam's Razor, it is all to sad to see the out right lying that goes on every day in politics.

You better pray that Bush end the special powers he has gained during his terms regardless of who gets elected.

Maybe he's an idiot savant? A genius criminal, but can't tie his own shoes. Like Dustin Hoffman in Rainman.

Personally, I think Bush is an idiot (just like most politicans) and Cheney is the criminal mastermind (like the rest of the politicians).

This is a non-partisan opinion. I think democrats are just as worthless as republicans.

Ever see a Bond movie? The villains are always geniuses who have a major kink in their thinking process. That's one possibility. Though, that description would fit Rove or Cheney better than Bush.

i don't know about bush in particular but have you ever met an intelligent criminal? yes they may seem to have some abilities but what kind of intelligent person would chose to do the wrong thing? a criminal mastermind does things for their own benifit or for the wrong reasons.
