Can anyone explain why when you have had a bit of a strong mix - you get an attack of anxiety. It it the poison? Apart from the obvious solution is there a way to combat the effect.

I do get anxiety and nervous feeling, not because of poison in my body, I just can't remember what I have done and who I might have pissed off.

Strange u say that, i used to be able to drink loads and have no hangover, now i can drink just 1 pint and have the worst "nerve" feeling the next day, the whole of the day, my entire chest n body feels awful, and i was told its anxiety, makes my chest feel empty and like my hearts stopped, so only way to stop it was to quit drinking. i have no idea what triggered my anxiety attacks but had them 2 years now and they arent going, i think if you suffer from them you probably cant drink so much, and i dont know what ingredient it is that causes it, but its clearly alcohol.

As alcohol is a depressant and your brain has come off the alcoholic drive and you are lacking water as alcohol is a diuretic and all of which can circulate into a mass of anxiety, confusion and depression.

as far as i know there is no solution apart from the obvious

Withdrawal symptoms.

When you are boozing you are, in effect, borrowing energy and you pay that back the next day and you feel like a deflated balloon or a deflated tyre, drained of energy.

I get that when I drink a silly amount....though its usually the fear that I have done or said something stupid in between dancing on the tables or offering lapdances to my friends!
