Why not? The teacher got blamed. No one wants to REALLY blame the guilty, do they? Besides, it isn't blasphemy to the kids, they loved the teddy bear. So are these Arabs trying to say it is wrong to love?

I have wondered/worried what they have done to those poor children. this thing takes the cake on the dumb hind end meter
I hope that something good may come out of this. My children at that age loved their teachers. If these children love their teacher then maybe they will remember this and when they are grown they will try to do something to stop this crap.

I think you should blame the teacher for being so dumb not to realize that naming a bear (a ferocious animal that eats people) after the figure which the country she is living in reveres as a prophet. Realize that while we might have stuffed animals in our house, and think bears are cute, that is not the case in the Sudan.

If you think about it, they (the little ones) have been indoctrinated into this "religion" for years. If this was such a problem, why didn't they know about it?

Once again " the religion of perpetual outrage" shows it hypocrisy.

Not making light of what happened but they screwed those kids minds up in regards to their religion for life. They were also victims.
