do i really have to take birth control pills same time everyday?

Most doctors recommend that you take it the same time of day each day, but it doesn't make it any less effective if you take one in the morning one day and then in the evening the next day. Doctors just want it to be more even doses. Just pick a time of day and take them all at that time, but if you run late in the same day, it's no harm.

Just don't miss pills and if you do, take 2 when you remember.

YES, you need to, especially if its for prevention of pregnancy.

If its to regulate your cycle it can be off slightly, IMO no more than 6 hours.

But the closer you take it the better your chances of effectiveness of the pill. It's ONLY 99% if taken as prescribed.
