Popular Mechanics was debunked over and over and over to the point that they will no longer debate 9/11 anymore because they can't even answer their own claims under serious inspection.
Popular Mechanics also based their "science" to fit the government's explanation of 9/11. It doesn't matter what you think did or did not happen on 9/11 but you can't ignore these facts:
Bush denied an independent investigation of 9/11, instead he wanted the investigation headed by mostly and a select group of multinational CEOs and Bush appointed lawyers
Osama Bin Laden is not wanted for 9/11 by the FBI or the CIA, no matter what the tv tells you
Insider trading on 9/11 led back to the CIA and Fortune 500 companies, the same companies whoose CEO's were responsible for investigating 9/11
The 9/11 Commission Report refused to address WTC 7 as if it didn't even exist
Twoplanes cannot three buildings collapse in the same way it's just not possible

If a central authority keeps asserting "that's what occurred" then human beings start to believe them. No-one denies that a gaggle of Saudi kooks crashed the towers or the outcomes. The questionable area is our governments reaction and over-reaction. Many falsehoods have been informed and it brings the government right into a place of distrust. No, it's really not possible to "debunk" the Pop Mech book/website.
Popular Mechanics is simply a collection of opinions of famous experts. That's why it's so powerful. See:

The only way Pop Mechanics can be wrong is if they either misquoted the experts or the experts are wrong. Not very likely.
Let's take a specific example from Pop Mech. & let's see if anything is debunkied:
Pop Mechanics says that Professor Bazant (Northwestern Dept of Civil Engineering) is one of only 14 people to win the Prager Award in engineering.

Bazant's article (above) says the towers collapsed from jets alone (impact & fire). There is zero need to have “thermite” or “bombs.”
Now, what part of this is debunked?
There are hundreds of other similar examples. The opinions of experts, not the editors.
Pop Mech is just a collection of expert opinions. You can't argue witn them.

Some other points:
Yes, 2 planes can bring 3 buildings & in fact brought down NINE buildings, if you check the newspapers
Buildings destroyed on 9/11 in NYC:
The 2 towers, WTC7, The Marriott World Trade Center , 6 World Trade Center, 5 World Trade Center, 4 World Trade Center, and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (which wasn’t even in the WTC complex). The Deutsche Bank Building was also outside the WTC complex & was massively damaged, and was declared a total loss in 2004.

So it shouldn't be a big surprise that WTC7 collapsed, a bunch of buildings did. They all collapsed due to gigantic pieces of the towers falling on them from a height of 1000 feet.

Actually, the 9/11 report did address WTC7.
The 9/11 report had 13 parts. WTC 1&2 are mentioned only in part 9.2 & only in regard as to how the firemen responded. In fact, WTC7 is also mentioned in 9.2.
The bulk of the report is simply about al-Qaeda & planning for terrorism. It's NOT a report on how buildings collapsed.
That function belongs to NIST & FEMA. FEMA worked with the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers).
All these scientists rejected the conspiracy story. NIST issued reports on both the towers & on WTC7.
ALSO: The 9/11 Commission was established by a law passed by Congress. Congress, not Bush, selected the non-partisan members. Bush had no power over them.

It simply amazes me how easily a few minority "experts" can suck gullible people into believing their point of view.
I remember this commercial had two "expert doctors" come on this program pumping up these fat burning pills on TV....LOL! The pills became a fad until the suckers that were buying these pills realized that they didn't work.
Compare your hyped video with real controlled demolitions and see the difference.

Remember, controlled demolition buildings usually have their windows removed first to keep the glass from flying out. When windows are left on the building for controlled demolition, you can visible see glass on all floors popping out. Also, all floors go at the same time with controlled demolition. Watch your video and the video I just posted once again.
As you can see, 9-11 was NOT a controlled demolition.
My best advice to you is to stop reading the tabloids. Not everything you read is true.

You draw your own conclusions, but with all the "media" it is confusing. I found a book that has so much info in it that it is amazing. Basically puts it all togerther. i suggest if you still have questions about that read. Understanding The Times by Dr. William Grady. It is interesting. After word is written by the father of the neutron bomb and it has the start of the US and everything up to and including the Iraq war, so it will lay to bed any or most questions. it's not he said, she said, it's the actually copies of documents and lst person. by a 30 year intel person. take care.

Just for the heck of it, I clicked the links you provided. The first two were the same article, the third was from someone who didn't seem to understand that telling people to search for a term and putting quotes around that term doesn't mean to use the quotes in the term, it is just used to identify the term to be searched for. That's the kind of solid debunking that guy did. And the respected panel of 9/11 Scholars, made up,as it is, of: "Scholars for 9/11 Truth (S9/11T) is a non-partisan association of faculty, students, and scholars, in fields as diverse as history, science, military affairs, psychology, and philosophy, dedicated to exposing falsehoods and to revealing truths behind 9/11," would not be considered a reputable source by anyone. In any case, most of the debunking in these articles is done with the usual array of fabricated facts, such as radiation at the Pentagon and molten steel in the basement of the WTC, that have been shown to be lies long ago. So no, it has not been debunked, and the failure of the attempts to debunk it actually do nothing less than strengthen it.
