George HW Bush was vice president from 1981-1989, president from 1989-1993, Bill Clinton was president from 1993-2001, George W Bush is president from 2001 until his term is up in 2009. Hillary Clinton is running for the next one.

So from 1981-2009 someone from one of these two families has either been the president of the vice president.

What's next, Electing Jeb for 2017 and Chelsey in 2025!

I think the next president should not be from the Bush or Clinton familes and should be somone new.

What do you guys think?

Yes it is bad. That is one of many reasons why I will not vote for Hillary in the Primary

Many of the yahoos aren't old enough to have any first hand knowledge of Hitler, so all they know is what little they may have heard while in school. I on the other hand was alive while Hitler was. True I was not over there but I heard the stories brought back by the soldiers. I was a small lad and those stories had me thinking this guy was actually killing people himself and not being nice about it. I had night mares for a while. There have been others of the same ilk, who were just as bad, and if Mr.Obama thinks he can do that stuff over here, he had better get himself some full body armor because someone will try to take him out. I personally hope this is all hype and fluster, and that he actually makes a good president, but I won't hold my breath until he proves out either way. I hope for the sake of America we are wrong!

God, I hope we get out of this cycle. Why the heck do we want to have ruling families? This is regressing back to the feudal days in England. I personally think everyone we have in our government right now needs to be replaced with people that aren't corrupt. Then in 50 years when everyone in the government is corrupt again we do the same thing. That is what Jefferson proposed. Write a new constitution every 50 years so that those in power do not abuse that power. Obviously the two family system that we have is very conducive to corruption.

Night stays at the white house, doing nothing on immigration, bombing Kosovo, bombing Iraq, it goes on until we get them the heck out of there.

Because at this point people have Americans have become accustomed to pointing fingers, not only in the sense of families but political parties as a whole. In the past few decades we have had:

"Lets elect Democrats, oh no they suck now lets elect Republicans, oh no they suck, lets go back to Democrats."

In my opinion by doing this we are keeping the same old corrupt people in power, and lacking change and results that America really needs, this is why I am voting for Ron Paul even though he is a Republican, because he is different.

In Europe we had monarchies and we´re glad to be rid of them.

It´s your turn. Enjoy the Bush, Clinton, Kennedy and co...

I agree with you. We need change. I would also like to see a non-Christian president. You can't even get a nomination in this country unless you claim to believe in something that can't be proven. That is scary.

Most people agree with you, the major media says otherwise. Funny huh?

Um, you don't elect vice president? As far as everything else, once we elected someone from the same family. Doesn't seem as scary when you just look at the facts.
