People need to speak up and say it is not acceptable to act like this. The United States was built on recognizing differences and accepting the differences. This fear that is taking hold of people are being developed by people who have much to gain politically by doing this. It wasn't until people took a chance and confronted these bullies that this stopped.

If you did some more research, you will find that Senator Joeseph McCarthy was correct, the Soviet Union did infiltrate
many of their agents into our government, to include a vice president under FDR. Since the Soviet Union was a threat, Senator McCarthy was doing his duty.
The Salem Witch trials has been determined to have been brought on by a hallucinogenic fungus that grew on the grain they harvested called an ergot. Deeply religious and ignorant of the science, they attributed the phenomenon to the only thing in their frame of reference that could explain the problem they faced, witches.
McCarthy did nothing wrong. A better understanding of science and nature could prevent another Salem Witch Trial.

Be attuned to your individuality and dig more deeply into social activities more openly and not to live on someone else shoes.
