I've never owned a Colt but I have had the misfortune to own 2 other Mitsubishi cars.
I just hope that if you buy one you never have problems with it. We found Mitsubishi's customer relations people to be abysmal.

I have a 1995 model coupe (a Mirage coupe here in the USA) and they're pretty good cars. Just watch out for the 1993-1996 ones with automatic transmissions. The Automatics in them are garbage! My car ate three of them and it's at 167,000 miles now.

On the flipside, the Colt/Mirage shares parts with the Lancer and Lancer Evolution (same years only), so you can turn a Mirage/Colt coupe into a turbocharged, All-wheel drive monster!

Why do you like those old ones? I dont know from witch country you are, but the colt was replaced by the triton in South Africa. Never the less, we r getting a Colt 3.0i 4x4 extream and it drives great!!

i think Colts with the 2.0L turbo 4G63 motor are awesome! fast cars that will surprise many people. but stock Colts are really slow, and there are much better economy cars out there

my husband loved his until some woman who had just passed her test rammed into him while he was getting into it and totally wrote it off.It was mangled,he was lucky he wasn't mangled to as he was still holding the door handle when it came to rest across the road.He was so sad to see it go as it was fast and cheap to run.
