Is this war ever going to end

All wars end. Some just take longer than others. In the overall spectrum of wars, this one is pretty far down the list. Vietnam lasted 25 years, followed by several more years of internal purging and border wars.

Hey the war has to end sometime! I mean I have a cousin and a husband who both are enlisted military , and I can tell you right now that with a presidential election coming up and most of the US population wanting the gov't to just bring our troops home, Bush(Well, Cheney truthfully) can't keep ignoring the public, I mean after all the US was built by the people for the people, This is not a dictatorship, just hang in and have hope:)

The USA has repeatedly said it will leave Iraq if asked. Iraq has not asked. The US will be there for another 10 years or longer. It's been half a century since the Korean War and we still have a peacekeeping force there in South Korea.

Technically, it's not a war. Congress has to declare war.
This executive action that our Congress approved will end one day, but only time will tell how long it will take the rift that has been created between Christians and Muslims to close.

the war in iraq, yeah sure it'll end when the government decides it's time to move on to the next country.

Let's hope it ends soon. I wasn't for it but now that we are there we have to accomplish something. Without some kind of positive outcome it will all have been a costly waste.
