I think OSU will win. They have more talent and a better coach. As for the guys above me saying the SEC is better than the big ten, can you give facts to support your theory? Using rankings is an oppinion. Facts are the big ten over the last 5 years has a winning record head to head in the regular season, and a winning record in bowl games. Let's look at another fact. OSU is undefeated against LSU.

Let's look at last year. Football is a game won in the trenches. OSU had some stars, and won some big games, but in the trenches they were very young. They replaced 5 first round draft picks, 8 players on defense, and several on the offensive line, including one of the best centers to ever play at OSU. They came in unprepared and got smoked by a very good, and very angry, florida team. Florida beat them fair and square.

And LSU fans, get used to OSU being in the championship game. They have 3 seniors on this team. There is a reason why OSU has been to 3 national championships in the last 6 years, and that is because they are damn good football team, with a great coach. I hope LSU brings their A game, because I have a feeling OSU will, and I look forward to a great game. Last but not least, football is played on the field, and the game being a "home" game for LSU makes no difference. If the bucks lose, it has nothing to do with where the game is played.

LSU. I think it'll be close, but LSU will win. LSU has been so banged up with injuries due to their brutal schedule. Once Dorsey, Curtis Taylor, Williams, Doucet, Flynn, Perrilloux, and everybody else heals up, LSU will be unstoppable. The real LSU team was the team that put the beatdown on Virginia Tech early in the season, before the rash of injuries occurred. LSU will be rested and ready to roll on January 7th.
How would Ohio State do with LSU's schedule? I'd say at least three loses.

I haven't seen any DOMINATING teams this year. LSU didn't play that well either. It doesn't really matter that the Buckeyes had a weak schedule this year, if you watched any of those games this year, when they were up, they slacked off. In my opinion their loss to Illinois was due to them looking one week farther ahead at the Michigan game. Nobody in Ohio will remember them losing to Illinois but, they would never forget a loss to Michigan. I think that the Ohio State defense will shut down LSU early, then just when they figure out how to shut down the pass, the two Wells boys will turn up the heat.
Ohio State by 10.

Ohio State is a great football team, they are number 1. However it will virtually be a home game for LSU and lets not forget the last tim LSU played a championship game in New Orleans, look what happened to Oklahoma. LSU and Ohio states are quality football teams and it will be a close game, but I believe LSU will win.

OHIO STATE will win. Redemption time. Even though OSU is ranked #1 going into the game, they will definately be an underdog against LSU in their backyard which is fine by the buckeyes. They play better being the underdog. Ask Willis McGahee and the Miami Hurricanes!!!!

The Big-10 is down this year, but you can't know that ahead of time. You can't penalize them for Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State being terrible this year when it looked like they would be good. It is not like Illinois did not have a good year. They were 9-3. LSU did lose to Arkansas when they were unranked.

LSU by at least 18, if not more. To OSU morons, play a real schedule and you may get respect and not embarrassed again. Akron, Kent State, Youngstown State. And your total offense is 48th, passing offense 78th, pathetic. Have beaten 1 ranked team and lost to Illinois, while they weren't even ranked.

But clearly the scumbag Delaney knows to play fluffy so-called D1 teams, and end the season 3 weeks early so you can stand around and watch the men play, then backdoor into another Championship game, where you will get embarrassed agian - without a real QB starter for LSU...

I am a huge Virginia Tech fan so I am upset that VT is not in the championship game. But I think that LSU will win. Ohio has not played anyone hard all season. LSU will eat Ohio alive. Also, LSU is playing in Louisiana so they will have all their fans behind them to pump them up.
