That was a GREAT era for heavy metal. With the likes of Iron Maiden, Saxon, Def Leppard, Samson and Diamond Head bursting on to the scene, there was no denying that heavy metal was alive and here to stay. Even some of the more established bands like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and AC/DC released some of their finest work around that time as well.

Not much of one, although the bands I like in the Wave are among my favorite bands.
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Saxon
Motorhead
That's pretty much it. But I've got over six pages of bands in size sixteen font on a Word document I think I should check out. A couple other ones that I've looked up before should be in there. Gonna add this to my private watchlist...and add more to the list.

Maiden, Leppard, Priest, and to some extent Tygers of Pan Tang were the only ones I ever got into. ...and I didn't really like Tygers, but I was a sucker for John Sykes' guitar work.
