The type of black tea we drink in England is suited to drinking with milk. It is high in tannin, and tastes quite nasty without it, but the green teas of China and the far east are not suitable for milk.

Of course we make tea with milk, well I do, I love it weak and I absolutely adore milk, if I ever made you a tea you'd probably think I hadn't put a tea-bag in at all.

Yes, when I was in England, I discovered the English drink their tea that way. I will drink it both ways. It just takes getting used to. Sometimes I will drink my coffee black too.

I have never made tea with milk, but I have added milk to tea before... I had a green tea latte at this place by my house and it was wonderful and creamy so I thought I could replicate it by adding milk to my hot green tea... it was actually very good! You should try it! :)

A lot of English people drink tea with milk, they even put sugar in it, ughhh! It not only sounds disgusting but tastes foul as well.
