Can conservatives name atleast three well established scientific organizations that are against it?

I have come up with a list of ten SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS, complete with the year the organization was founded, how many members they have, and official statements they have made concerning man made global warming. I even include the original source which point directly to their websites.

Among the list is the National Academy of Science, the American Meteorological Society, The American Chemical Society, the Geological Society of America, NOAA, the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

What do cons have besides the "Global Warming Heartland" and CATO created junkscience websites?

"Human activities are increasingly altering the Earth's climate. These effects add to natural influences that have been present over Earth's history. Scientific evidence strongly indicates that natural influences cannot explain the rapid increase in global near-surface temperatures observed during the second half of the 20th century."

I should have known. Fox News.

Summary: On Special Report, Jim Angle reported that NASA was forced "to admit it was wrong when it said that 1998 was the hottest year on record" and that NASA "now says 1934 was the hottest year, followed by 1998, then 1921." But Angle did not inform viewers that NASA's revision affected annual temperature rankings for the United States only; it had no effect on the annual global temperature rankings.

captain,

You just linked to a blogger with the name of "chapter1". Oh yeah. This guy single handedly proved all the scientists wrong.

2nd captain,

Excellent NASA source.

Climatologists (scientists who study climate) have analyzed the global warming that has occurred since the late 1800's. A majority of climatologists have concluded that human activities are responsible for most of the warming. Human activities contribute to global warming by enhancing Earth's natural greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect warms Earth's surface through a complex process involving sunlight, gases, and particles in the atmosphere. Gases that trap heat in the atmosphere are known as greenhouse gases.

Try NASA. Research methods change, and according to the latest, NASA asserts that the hottest year on record was 1934*, well before the airplane and automobile became popular means of travel.

*Not 1998, as previously believed.

I found a quote from an honest environmentalist:

"We have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we may have. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest. "
