No, they haven't. From this article:
"That makes the Tigers a favorite to make history, given that no two-loss team has ever won a national championship. There have been two national champions that didn't win two of their games: Alabama in 1965 (9-1-1) and Colorado in 1990 (11-1-1). (AP voted for the champion before the bowls 1936-64 and '66-67.) In both cases, the team won the Associated Press poll. The coaches voted for Michigan State in 1965 and Georgia Tech in 1990."
Minnesota in 1960 did go 8-2 and split the title with two other teams. Not sure why they didn't get mention in the article, unless it's because there was such a logjam of winners that year.

i became into merely interpreting the activities area and it pronounced LSU is the 1st 2 loss team to play for a countrywide championship, much less win one. Im uncertain in the event that they're speaking on the subject of the present BCS device or in the event that they are going back into the previous device of coaches and sportwriters polls. unusual 365 days for confident...who else you rather gonna %. however. each and every team in the final 10 stumbled whilst they shouldnt have.
