I value real education not bs. When YOU got out of school, a highschool diploma could actually get you somewhere. Now it can only get you working at Mc Donald's. Now you have to go to school at least 6 years to make a decent living. We have to take bs courses that are little more than propaganda courses. The education system is a joke; they want us to take bs courses that will not help us, only so that the beaurocrats on top generate profits. I only go to college so that I will not end up on the streets; it is not because of the joy of the overglorified brainwashing device known as "education".

Ideally, school is supposed to supply us with tools to use to continue educating ourselves after we get the certificate. The certificate is just ONE indicator that someone has the skills needed to obtain knowledge and apply it; it's not proof that someone will do so satisfactorily.

There is a value in just completing a degree regardless of the courses taken, in that it shows that you can work for and achieve a goal. Without specific examples of what classes you term as "bs propaganda" it is hard to comment on whether they are or are not, but I think that is it unfair to classify education as brainwashing. It is clear that schools are not accomplishing what they should be.

So what do you expect? Someone will come out of the blue, look at your skill set, realize that you are not educated, but say "education is BS" and then proceed to pay you oodles of money. Or are you counting on someone to discover your talent as a singer, actor, or athlete? Or do you expect someone to come and make you CEO of a large corporation?

I don't think it will happen. And you still need an education to cure someone, design the next iPod or cool automobile, to figure out where the economy is going, or to teach your children.

At your age, you are a poor judge of what kind of education and what you will need to know to do anything in life.
