Hmmm, i suppose my favorite thing about being alone not having to worry about entertaining anybody other than myself.. which makes things much simpler.
I know it sounds selfish, but hey, what can I say?
It gives me a chance to unwind, relax, and reflect on things that need reflecting. =)

I like that I can listen to the same song 50 times in a row...LOL
I like periods of solitude because when people are home they're constantly asking for something. I don't mind that but when I'm alone I just do what I want.

lol. elizaday83. I was gonna say walk around naked with my Underwear on but the only thing I like about being alone is not to be told what to do or what not to do because When I am alone. I'm only thinking about her, about my life and when will my next love come or how what will it be like. usually I write poems during my solitude and listen to music, watch TV, read Book or just be here on Y,A so the day can go around. it's not easy being around to lonely but what can you and me do, just keep moving and forget about the pass and look for the future.

When I`m alone I usually pray to God,in the name of Jesus.
I like to consider how happy I am in peace about periods of solitude.

there is a freedom that comes in solitude! I have ADHD and I tend to be doing a million things at once - when there is someone around me they tend to try to tell me what to do next or to finish what I started....sometimes that is helpful -- but sometimes it is wonderful to just let myself go and do what comes naturally.
Also - there is the ability to touch the spiritual side of me that can't happen in a crowd.

Solitude restores my soul.
People sometimes pull me in many different directions with demands on my time and energy. Solitude allows me to get myself back together again. .

I can narrow it down to two things. First, the ability to think. I can let my mind roam freely, uninterrupted by others, and it is when I get my most creative ideas. Secondly, it is really the chance to determine my own destiny. I am much more in control of my own life when I don't have others around trying to influence what I do or think about.

Absolute quiet and I can do whatever I want without being disturbed, just sit and simply think, turn up the music dance around alittle watch what I want on tv all the simple things.

I don't have to live up to anyone's expectations, I can be myself when and how I want. I like solitude the best so I can play my acoustic guitar and I can hear it talk to me. Weird, huh?

It's nice and quiet, perfect atmosphere for reading scary books like R.L Stine's Fear Street books. Nobody to bug you or interrupt you in the middle of a good part.
