A is 70-100
B is 60-69
C is 50-59
D is 40-49
Fail is under 39

In classification terms a B being 60-69 would be a 2.1.

Which is really good, its what I graduated with in June.

I'm finding it difficult to comprehend your question...my uni doesn't a,b,c etc grades but rather a mark:
under 40 fail
40-49pass/3rd
50-59pass/2:2
60-69pass/2:1
70+ 1st
I think a B is probably a 2:1 on that individual assignment-when you get your degree they wont take into consideration whether or not your mark is a low 2:1 or a high 2:1, they simply follow a guideline as above.
Hope this helped.

I am from an english univeristy and this is the way our system runs:

1st 70%
2.1 60-69%
2.2 50-59%
3rd 40-49%

i would recokn it would come under a 2.1? but the best way is to find out the percentage and then compare to my list.

A "b" is usually something like 80%. Universities in the UK usually don't use A, B, C grading like we do in the U.S.
