If you're talking about business and work, I think many people get that week off, too (expect shift workers, who must also work the 24th and/or 25th.) Most businesses don't resume operations until after the New Year.

Most people i know ONLY get the 25th off, unless the 25th falls on a weekend then they get ther friday before or monday after off.
I wish it were lazy, mine is just hectic
