the home team doesn't score a goal? The opposing team pulls a shut-out? Everyone takes their bear home until the next game?

Silly question but I went to a game last night that had a Teddy Bear toss for charity.

Nope, they will announce when to throw them so they can collect the bears to give to the organization they are collecting them for!

I have seen the highlights of a time that did happen. It was last year or the year before.

People all (instinctively) tossed at the final buzzer.

They just pick a random time during the second intermission and have it then if it looks like the home team isn't going to score.

pretty sure that they would still collect them in one manner or other. either at the door or from fans pelting opposing players with them post game
