Is this really the english Death Note DVD?

It says it is, but how is it out on DVD already if they're just now beginning to air the english dubbed episodes on television?

Yes, it is the real english Death Note DVD from Viz Media. (With the first 4 episodes. The second one is out now, and that has episodes 5 through 8.) Usually when they start to air an anime, the first couple DVDs are available right after.

You can also buy the whole Death Note series at Discountanimedvd.com. It's a safe and good website, I bought my Death Note there. (The whole series Box Set is in japanese though with english subtitles. I like there original voices better anyway!) But you can buy alot of other really cheap anime there! :]

i actually doubt dat it will be in english cause i heard dat death note was not dubbed in english because it was only a 37 episodes anime, it has only 1 season which is only 37 episodes but who knows maybe they really have dubbed it

you are correct and for this reason the dvd you are looking at is only 100min as its only the first 3-4 episodes. Read last review on page.
