It should go in as soon as u return the item, they ask for your debit card and swipe the money back on to your card. It would help if u had your receipt. But go to your bank and get a monthly statement and bring it to the manager of the clothing store.

It is different according to your bank and the store at which you shopped. I would wait atleast 5 days before worrying that something is wrong. My last one took 4 days.
