A few malcontent libs grouse every year about nativity scenes and Christmas trees. If they are "offended" by this why don't they truly walk the walk and work on Christmas day? And, why aren't they petitioning to have Christmas Day defrocked as a holiday? Can't have your cake and eat it too!

Last I looked at the Constitution, there was no right NOT TO BE OFFENDED. Those who are should just SHUT UP.

I don't really think all people that have a problem with the celebration of Christmas can be called libs. Now, as to your question, since most companies are shut down, that is just not logical. A better question would be if they oppose Christmas as a holiday, why don't they turn down their Christmas bonus? I have worked with a lot of Jehovah Witnesses in my time that refused to attend our Christmas dinner but happily accepted the bonus from our company. I asked one about this. Didn't get an answer.

Dec. 25th is Christmas.

As is held by all Christians it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Be it rooted in historical fact or not. It is a Religious beliefe so it is a matter of faith.

We are a christian nation. So people should be able to display there faith. If you don't like it get over your self. There is no right to "NOT" celebrate your faith. Anyone can celebrate it.

Oh and yes there is a war on christmas. It's called political corectness. It's ruining america.

Hi John,

No I don't think they should work despite what they believe.
I mean don't turn Christmas in to a hate thing and wish bad on others who don;t agree in your belief. They'll have to see the Lord in the end like all of us, I'm sure He'll know how to handle it. In the meantime don't get all riled up this season because of others. Do what you need to do to make your self happy, celebrate Christmas how you know it should be celebrated instead of worrying if that other guy is getting a day off too.

Take Care!

To each their own. All the things going on in the world I hardly see this as an issue. Go ahead and celebrate the fake day of Jesus birth. Go ahead hold hands a dance around a lovely pinetree. But stop spreading the misinformation that we non-cons have a problem with it.

Good Question! I could care less what kind of scenes and trees you decorate, as long as I get a day off from work.

You never hear people who are "offended" by Christmas complaining about getting a week's holiday for it, do you?

yes, and no.

I think that if you are not christian you should have your own holiday that you don't have to work on.... in the meantime you work on Christmas. i will gladly work on your pagan day.
leave everyone else alone to celebrate Christmas as we have always done!

Shouldn't Christian work on Christmas Day. Why should they get off to celebrate Pagan traditions?
