I did because I didn't want to be one of those people who gets my account suspended for my own behavior and then complain about it because I don't know the terms and conditions of the website I'm posting on.

When I'm suspicious that they're going to do something bad to me, like sell my information, or charge me for services I won't order "automatically", I do.
(I'm also an attorney, so fine print sometimes intrigues me.)
