Did you see when he hopped out of bounds 3 or 4 yards short of a first down on a 4th and 17?
He was probably thinking about his next TD celebration and forgot what down it was. Maybe it's because I only see him play against the Steelers, but he doesn't impress me at all. T.J. is a far better receiver and has a far better attitude.

Yeah, that was a pretty dumb play. He clearly wasn't thinking. I think Chad is more athletic than TJ, but Housh is a better team player. Chad gets jealous when he isn't getting the ball and has a bad attitude at times.

I'm a Bengals fan, but I can't explain what Chad was thinking on that play. He really looked shocked that he didn't have the first down, despite the fact that the first-down marker was on that same side.
T.J. is the better route runner, while Chad is the big-play guy. He's only one of many things, though, that's been disappointing about this season.

I think he forgot that it was 4th down judging by his reaction after the catch.
I'm a Steeler fan living in Cincy.
Bottom line, the Bungals have totally lost focus just like they did in the 90s.

Just because the Bengals are losing doesn't mean you can blame Chad Johnson. Because it was fun and gravy when he was doing touchdown celebrations when they were winning and everybody and their mama thought it was cute then.
