My friends and I are doing a science experiment and we would like to know what houshold objects would add comfort to high heel shoes such as cottonballs,etc.

-Take cotton balls, tissue or napkins (folded!) and put them in the arch of your foot in the shoe to alleviate pressure.
You could also use it to pad your heels.

-You can take a small scarf or handkerchief and put it at the toe of the shoe to cushion your toes.

A SAW - Cut the heels down.

High heels are used to thrust the chest out.
They put a stress on the spine.
