The American public school system is pathetic, but the college students' loss to the chimp is probably more a result of all the distractions in the students' lives.

This article mentions nothing of Americans taking the test, as a matter of fact it clearly states "researcher Tetsuro Matsuzawa of Kyoto University" conducted the research. Which leads me to believe it's the Japs that are the Idiots tested here.
Do you see the little AP picture to the left of the article, you know, the one with a chimp in it? It states, and I quote,
"This photo provided by the Primate Research Institute in KYOTO, JAPAN, show a chimpanzee named Ayumu as he performs the second stage of a memory test in which he must recall the location on a touch sensitive monitor of numerals that have changed to squares, Dec. 13, 2006, at the Institute in Kyoto."
Wow, I never knew Kyoto University was in New York, is that the one which advertises degrees by mail? The story came out of New York but the study was conducted in JAPAN. You need to do more research before you post. Lack of education, especially in your own questions, makes you look moronic, some retardation can be cured, but we can't do a thing about the inbreeding.

And the Japanese are famed for developing the memory skills of their people!
On the other hand, even young humans have better memories than adults. It's a developmental thing. Now they should test adult chimps against adult humans....
What do Americans have to do with this study? They weren't in it, were they?

No doubt that chimps are smart. But you really expect us to take seriously an article written by MALCOLM RITTER, AP Science Writer??? A fifth grader can be a science writer. Come on, Hulk, surely you can do better than this if you want to insult Americans. Come on... think. You can do it. Think hard. Well, then again...
