sometimes I lick my fingers bc I cant turn the pg like that of a phonebook. I don't most of the time though.
do you intentionally make your questions discreetly provocative or is it just me who finds most of your questions to be a turn on?

I do not know about generational, but I think it is off-putting to witness you basically directly putting your saliva on a page (unsanitary, not like books or paper ever is, but still). What I mean is, I am a TA frequently for college courses, I have to hand out pages sometimes to the lecture class of 100 or so students. It is actually kind of hard to separate pages, maybe I am just inept or something, but my fingers do not have enough traction to make it work easy. I am a lot better at it by now, but it was a learned skill. I used to think specifically, if I licked my finger and did this it would be easy, but I thought students would not enjoy receiving a handout that I just swiped with a wet finger given immediate sanitary reminders.

No and I will tell you why. I work in a docters office. The magazines out front in the waiting room are the most germ infested items you will ever pick up. People are sick then lick there fingers to turn the pages. Next person comes along does the same and sickness is spreading everywhere.
Never lick your finger to turn pages even if you are at home.

I hate that 2. I mean like who wants to read the magazine after you spit all over it. EWW! If you really have such a hard time turning the pages maybe you shouldn't read the magazine! Plus, why would you lick your finger were you don't know what you have touched and how many people licked that same page EWWWWWWWWWW!

I have to admit this is a bad habit of mine. Of course if I'm in a doctor's office or something the minute I do it I regret it cuz no one wants to touch a magazine after another person's spit is on it. Unfortunately it is such a bad habit that I end up doing it again and realize that someone else probably did it and now I have their germs.

OMG!! Thanks, finally someone who agrees. I used to go to a store and the cashier would spit on his fingers to open the plastic bag. Finally, I screamed "don't do that" grabbed my stuff and walked out. I didn't even put the money in his drooly hands. ewwwwwwwwww
