Usually, the console versions of the Sims games stay strictly console. The Sims 2 franchise already got Sims 2 :Bon Voyage for the PC, which is what Castaway is supposed to be kinda based on.

I think they are doing a version of it called The Sims 2: Castaway Stories. It's supposed to be like The Sims 2 Stories and Sims 2: Pet Stories which were made mainly to use on laptops. When I read about it last summer the release date was given as Winter 2008 so my guess would be it will come out after the first of the year. I read this a while ago so my info might be a little out of date.

It's coming out as a Sims 2 Stories game; it will not be an expansion pack to the existing Sims 2 game but a separate game entirely, along the same lines as the rest of the Stories series.

The sims 2 have bon voyage for the PC - castaway for for a different platform and so they named it something slightly different and they have slight different features.
I believe sims 2 seasons is going to be/is the next expansion pack to be released.
