its been 9 years since i've stopped believing in him, but that fat man owes me a pony, dammit!

I believe Santa helps to make you feel the like the Christmas season is here. When I found out Santa wasn't real, I lost my CHristmas spirit.

The Santa Claus tradition comes from Nicholas Claus the Bishop of Ulm in Germany hundreds of years ago. This real person was also mixed as time went by with the ancient psuedo-pagan mythical figure of Father Christmas. Nicholas of Ulm used to pass out gifts to poor kids at Christmas from a horse drawn sleigh. He was cannonized (made a saint)after his death by the Catholic church.
Santa Claus is real because he was already declared a saint. Therefore, if he is a saint, he can perform miracles such as giving gifts to a mass number of good children

I don't believe in Santa as a real person but I do believe in the idea of Santa which in a sense does make him real doesn't it?

i believe in the magic of Santa and the wonderful things that he is believed to do...no, he is not real, but the magic of Christmas and what Santa stands for is.....long live St.Nick!

When I was a kid, I pretended to believe in Santa claus to receive an extra gift or two from him. i did not really believe such stuff as santa, Tooth fairy, ghosts, gods, etc.
