So, FOIL means "first, outside, inside, last." So multiply 5x by 3x, which gives you 15x^2.
Then multiply the outside, 5x by 6. This gives you 30x. Then the inside: 4 times 3x, which is 12x. Collect the terms 30x and 12x, and altogether you have 42x.
Finally, multiply 4 by 6, to get 24.

The final answer is C: 15x^2+42x+24.
Once you understand this, and if you can do basic multiplication, the rest of the problems are simple.

For increasing cubic binomials the final formulation is as follows: (a + b) ^ 3 = a^3 + 3*a^2*b^a million + 3*a^a million*b^2 + b^3 on your case, a is x and b is -y^5 So (x - y^5)^3 = x^3 + 3*x^2*(-y^5)^a million + 3*x^a million*(-y^5)^2 + (-y^5)^3 Simplified: =x^3 - 3x^2*y^5 + 3x*y^10 - y^15 :D
