I think the loss of genetic diversity would be the most interesting but I would not recommend it unless you have good understanding of basic genetics.

Will be an enormous topic, but the topic will illuminate the problems the human race faces today and could be used to point toward solutions. Less people in the world is better for people and the planet.

The first one is good. What role should religion play? Why is abortion such a big issue when the middle class is being squeezed and can't afford to have lots of children. Who will pay for Social Security if there aren't enough workers. How about immigration? They seem to produce bigger families. How about poverty? Educate the poor...etc. Everyone talks of morality but economics seem to trump all else.
