Hey -- give me some great contemporary poets that are alive and writing! also, how do you go about finding them? Do you just look in journals or what!?

Here are just a few names of living poets. You can look most of them up online to find examples of their work.
Looking in poetry journals at your local library or bookstore is also a good idea. You can also ask a teacher or librarian to recommend an anthology of contemporary poems.
