KG was the heart and soul of Minnesota for a long time. He did his best on the court and he did his best off it. He was a class act always even when they were losing.

The reason he left Minny was because Kevin McHale got the GM job without actually having a brain.

If Minnesota should boo anyone, it should be McHale, not KG.

Booing KG would show a lack of class and appreciation on the part of Minnesota fans.

i'm no longer a Twolves fan yet am a basketball and KG fan. Any Twolves fan who Boos KG is a finished fool and a MORON. He gave y'all 12 freaking years and maximum of his best waiting to get a nil.5 way first rate crew round him in basic terms to be kept away from and diappointed. His loyalty has probable costed him a hoop or 2. i will continuously appreciate him and relish what he did for a no longer so renowned marketplace.

All Era's come to an end. If you boo KG, you're just saying that you can't move on. The guy had 10 great years in Minnesota and you can't blame the man for looking for a ring before he gets too old. That'd be like booing Barkley for heading to Phoenix in '92!

No-Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy K.G. was the franchise of that T'Wolves organization. He filled up the sets, he helped that team get its first ever and prob for a long time MVP player, and 4 rebounding titles, took them to the Western Con Finals.

K.G. never had an additional players on his level until he got Stephen Marbury but he sold out, and then cam Sam, and Sprewell who could of stayed but asked for so much.. Shoot if anything they should root for the big guy. Give him a standing-ovation. In a league where trade is business and seeing true stars being traded every-time, they should be happy. He stuck with that team like a marriage only taking more heat than any other player. K.G. could of gotten his second MVP but his team record wasn't up for it.

I hope he can live up for the hype, winning a championship this season but its a bit to much to ask for but.......who knows

no way... w/o garnett there wouldn't even a team in Minnesota. He carried that franchise for years with players past their prime or too young or injury prone. he's never had a great team and yet busted his *** for the fans every single night. If anything they should cheer... beside it wasn't garnett asking for a trade out of minnie, the GM's decided to rebuild and start over and got a lot of talented young players for K.G.

no, the trade was a good trade, the wolves were going nowhere with garnett, they got young talent and are in rebuilding mode, which they should've done 2 years ago. Kg was a hard workin star on a losing team, he gave it his all every game. You can't blame him for wanting to win, and if you look back mchales the one that bmade the whole trade thing public. Kg kept quite and kept everything in house and kept it proffessional.

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL no, KG has given the minnesotians their best years of basketball, if anything they should be thanking him. If the fans really loved KG for what he has done for the organisation in the past few years, they would understand this, KG wants to be a winner, that is why he impacts everyone wherever he goes, he has passion for the game, and he just wants to win! This is also another reason why he is so popular. He should get applauses, and I'm sure that's what he'll get, no one's gonna boo him.

no. he did not ask to be traded. the team wanted to rebuild with a younger group. kevin never had a kobey type hissy fit. he gave it his all every game. kevin had some great times with the timberwolves. the timberwolves should be greatfull for having great player like garnett for as long as they did with no complaints.

NO! KG did everything for the city. the owners didn't help him at all with the right players when he was there.
they should give him the respect for being the man of that team for so long. He was never a bad guy. He never demanded anything from the team.
he also helped them bring in young talents for the future with the trade.
