It's only the insecure men who think that nowadays. After all, they have no facts or data to back up their prejudice. The U.K. wasn't invaded from all sides when Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister. Nor has Germany. Or Argentina for that matter.
Those that hold this opinion are the ones that are weak.

I would be glad if that kind of thinking was in the minority of the minority. I'm not sure it is. The ones who openly express it might be but the ones who think like that knowingly and even more subconsciously are no doubt with a lot more. How much? No idea but the gap in income between women and men also still exists in America and in Western Europe. This post is in the open and not many people would say it like that but that's not proof it's the minority if the minority opinion I think.

Did you ever think that being perceived as militarily weak could actually be an advantage?
Perception doesn't change the fact that USA has the largest military. And anyone for whom that is a relevant fact undeniably knows it, regardless of who is the figurehead.

I'm no Hillary fan, but the person who wrote that needs to realize that there have been several women leaders in other countries. If i felt a woman running was the best choice for President, I would have no problem voting for her. I don't like Hillary, but it is because she sounds like a Neocon. Has nothing to do with her being a woman. I would think that our huge stockpile of weapons would stop people from thinking we were weak.

Let's just hope it's the RIGHT woman whose time has come.
Not the one you're probably hoping will be sitting in the White House come January '09.
As far as sexist comments, whatya' gonna do? People say all sorts of crazy things. Freedom of speech is still a beautiful thing.

I honestly do not think it is sexist to say you do not want a woman president. It would be sexist to say a women cannot or is not qualified to be president.
To say that you do not want a woman president because she would have trouble dealing with Middle Eastern countries or something like that is not sexist.

You can just read the poor grammar and spelling of that post and see that the poster you mention isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer!
