Late Period Girl Friend Freaking out....please help everyone??

Here is my dilema

My girlfriend is 21 years old and she is very upset she has not got her period yet. We did not have sex the entire month of November and she states she did not cheat on me with anyone else. Her period is very irregular usually she gets it at the end of the month going into the next. The date she usually gets it is the 29th of each month. Well today is December 3rd and she did not get her period in November on the 29th. Its been 4 days and she has been stressing out like crazy someone help me.

She does not have any signs or symptoms of pregnancy at all or her period. She does not have and food hunger urges, no sore breasts, no headaches, no nausea or vomiting, nothing really out of the ordinary at all. She has not had any weight loss or gain.

This month did bring two things that weren't normal which was a yeast infection that she had in the beginning of the month and another at the end of the month around the 21st. Those two things were very bizarre since she never had them before.

She is not on any form of birth control and no her period has been at the end of the month now for some time.

We always use condoms and check them afterwards to make sure there were no holes in them as well.

She truly does not want to be pregnant at all and we haven’t bought a test yet.

Please anyone help us out on what you all think the problem is or any ideas of what could be wrong or going on with her and advice or solutions would be great. All I know is that she wants to get her period and just stop thinking about why she hasn't got it. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Did she have a normal period last month? If so, then the reason for her late period is probably due to stress or the yeast infection. Her body is trying to stabilize itself after the imbalance.

For now, tell her to try to not to worry. If she does, she must remind herself that she hasn't been sexually active, so she can't get pregnant. I have been late on my period for the past few months due to stress, and as soon as I relax, it comes.

Still, if she hasn't gotten it within a day or two, she might want to buy a test just for peace of mind's sake.

Though she has a -regular- (you wrote irregular in the passage, however it sounds pretty regular to me) period, it might not always work that way. It's only four days late, and you really shouldn't worry to much. Get a test, just to see, and be on the safe side.

However, things like stress, not eating right, lack of something, tiredness, and even depression can switch the regulance of her period.

4 days isn't too bad, but like I said, just check it out. For all you know, it could turn out negative, and take a big heap of stress off. If she doesn't want to take it, perhaps she knows something else.

She doesn't need to get to freaked there are lots of things that can cause a late period stress not eating right if she irregular anyways then her period isn't always going to to be time tell she will be alright but she go to the doctor and find out whats going on.

it sounds like she's only a few days late...a woman's cycle can change a LOT depending on stress levels, exercise, eating habits etc. It's possible that it just got a little wanky and she'll start any day now. If it is two weeks late then I'd say take a test or go to the docs. Good luck!

just because she's never been irregular doesn't mean it can't happen. At any rate, she must wait six weeks from the first day of her last period before she can test for pregnancy, only four days late....too soon to test, and not uncommon to be late.
As for the yeast infections, when she has treated herself for these, have you also used the treatment? Sounds like you could be reinfecting her.

She needs to take a test. Also, she needs to see her doctor about those yeast infections. She should not get 2 in one month. Also, stress can make her period late so she needs to relax!

Its complicated to tell while a woman has an unusual era. no i think your girl Friend is fine some times your period is late at times it could be as long as a month if she telling the truth and you guys haven't had sex then you she be fine but not to scare you but you can still be preagnet on your period and then it can just stop but what your saying sounds normal to me :)
