Why can't you appreciate the beauty of women regardless of the color of her skin. All women are beautiful her skin color is as irrelevant as her hair color. 2D

Because many people have fallen for the strict beauty standard of society that light-complected and straight hair=beautiful. Also, it doesn't help that the most popular black celebrities are light-complected and have straight weaves and wigs and things. The media rarely ever celebrates the natural beauty of black women.
Fortunately, there are plenty of people who find black women attractive. My husband is also an average white guy (though he falls a bit on the nerdy site, lol) and he thinks I'm the most beautiful girl he's ever laid eyes upon. He especially likes it when I have natural hairstyles like twists and braids and such. I love him so much. :-)

b/c American society don't see that as being beautiful....and its sad that some of the negitive comments come from our own race of men
you need to watch that movie "something new" you'll see what I mean

They know they just deny it. Just like in 3rd grade I liked barbies but I lied and said I didn't because everybody else claimed not to like them.
