put on a tanktop, t-shirt, & long-sleeve shirt, all being thin, stretchy material. put a light sweater on top of that, wrap a scarf around your neck, then put on a heavy jacket. put on a knit cap, & gloves. For the bottom, put on 1 pair thin socks, and 1 pair regular socks on top of that. put on some legwarmers, then skinny pyjama bottoms. on top of that put on any loose pants. make sure all the clothing is not binding and that you can move freely in each garment. that is the trick to layering and not feeling stiff and bound. i do this and feel warm, even on the coldest days. the shoes i recommend are like clogs, but have furry material inside and although your heel isn't all covered, it allows for thick socks and it insulates well. covering your head in cold weather is very important because that is where most body heat is lost. (through the head)

The best is to keep you head covered. Body heat escapes through the head. wear a neck scarf and a lined coat, and a good pair of mittens and boots. Make sure clothing isn;t too tight or the blood doen;t circulate and you will be cold. Remember blue jeans are not warm, Sweat pants are better.

Ski jackets can look good and be warm too. A cozy pair of jeans are good. For the more fashion concious maybe a pair of tights underneath shorts with a long wool coat, and sneakers or covered shoes. Leggings are good for wearing underneth dresses, and so are skinny jeans. Good luck =D

dress in layers,
first layer long johns,
second layer jeans or sweat pants with long sleeve t-shirt and socks,
third layer water proof jacket pants and hiking boots, gloves, scarf.
make sure to keep head, feet and hands warm that is the area of the body that loses heat the quickest.

people lose most of their heat thru their head and feet. wear a hat and thick socks. a scarf will help keep the chill out of your clothes. Layers are always good too. It's better to wear knits in cotton or wool because they are good insulators (especially wool). mittens or gloves are good too. i like the kind of mittens that have a flap that bends backward exposing your fingers if you need them for something.

Lots of layers. For full effect I go for thermal vest, teeshirt, long sleeved top or sweater, tights and trousers and socks. Then a hat (most heat is lost through the top of your head), gloves and scarf, and a lovely coat (woollen knit/weave coats are the warmest).

You obviously live somewhere where it is warm year round.
Sweaters are classy and warm. You can get some really nice striped sweaters from Gap, H&M, American Eagle, etc.

Layers, a scarf, gloves, and a hat or ear muffs. It's important that the scarf be wrapped around so it covers your upper chest too.
